^ Yeah.

Keep in mind the mounts would have to be fabricated, I never ever thought about driveshafts. Not to mention throwing your whole weight ratios off. You'd have to spend money on a coilover setup to make sure the weight is distributed properly. Otherwise you'll have poor tire wear, and all that jazz.

It would be awesome to see but not very practical. If you really wanna swap out the Beta. Try the 4g63t or something along the same lines as a Beta but with a little more support in the aftermarket (not to mention more power stock)

Yes my engine is a 1.6L Beta but I have a 1997 Tib. The 1.6L engines from 2000 Tibs and UP are Alpha.

The turbo is IHI but its hard to find photos of them... but Ill try.

I bought the 2.0 engine and soon it will be to my mechanics shop and start the rebuilt.

if they would have used a 1.6 beta that would have given you a cheap beta turbo manifold ;-)

hep would be very nice if you could dig me up some pics ;-)
btw, do you have some or your engine compartemnt, i've always wondered what the tibby looks like with a little alpha ;-)

My 1.6L engine is a Beta. Stock it was 96 whp/140 nm and now is 130 whp/17 nm (without nitrous oxide).

And a video: http://www.braker1.com/tiburon/videos/engine.mpg
