16k Engine, $400, Yea You Can Say Im Happy
Are you guys sure the heat in the engine bay won't melt the polyurethane in the liner? I read on some forums that can happen, especially around headers.. To quote some guy:
QUOTE
From personal experience having to remove a PO's previous application on my Yota, Nothing could be worse than covering everything with spray on bedliner/undercoating.....When it heats up from use it'll start "sagging" and looking like your whole engine bay is covered in melting tar.......It still keeps me up at night with nightmares.........
Radu.
think about the engine bay of a toyota pickup or any inline6 or v8. headers on both sides of the engine bay bud where our is in front with a fan in front of the headers. no need for worry about it.
the main key to undercoating is prepwork.
