Doesn't matter. I have to cam but not the ecu. Tibs run uber rich stock so a 1.8 ECU is a nice way to ease it a bit.

i had my 1.8L cam in there for a long time w/o installing my 1.8L ecu...finally installed 1.8L ecu recently

have not really tested...tranny started acting up this past weekend and i just drop car off at body shop for warranty repairs on a past insuracne claim

question for yah im trying to still understand the whole 1.8 ecu into a 2.0 trying to find out differences between fuel/timing tables but what i dont understand is that you say it makes the car run leaner

but infact the truth would be that running 1.8 ecu programed for 185cc injectors 1.8 motor

to run on 245cc injectors 2.0 motor it would be running richer from there being larger injecters inplace of the lower injector tune unless im wrong and somehow majically it auto adjust itself to make larger injectors run at a -ve input thus allowing a lower rate of spray to incure and also at the same time increase timing



i know that when you run a afc it goes -ve less fuel adv timing

+ve more fuel ret timing
