awesome MrPSXplyr! that helps a whole bunch!

*EDITED* installed.... and everything works. except when i have my lights on. the left side stays on and won't blink.

i think the whole 2 posts on the bulb theory is correct. the ones from korea only have one, so i'm assuming it's keeping shish grounded the whole time.

the rear blinker just stays on too..... and when i put in the carbon fiber euros, they all work except for the running lights. brakes, signals, reverse..... all okay. the tail lights are a whole new issue though. we won't get into that.

right now, i can only drive my car in the daytime though.

electrical never was my strong point when it comes to cars. <shaking head>

cdogtibby1: I can't remember exactly what brand I've got in there right now - they might be Eurolite Brand (Got them at Circuit City : HAAHA...of all the places!), but then again I don't like Eurolite...SOO...they could be APC, which can be found at your local AutoZone store! w00t! Remember folks' Corner lights are 1157 or 2357. They have Dual alternate positioned posts.

AlphaMale: Man, I don't know what's going on in your garage, but I've never seen so much trouble from just trying to put in bulbs and lenses. You put some bulbs in and you replace them with the exact same type. If the lights aren't blinking it's probably because you're using 1156 bulbs or some other variation. Blinkers are meant to be size 1157 (or 2357, same thing). If you want some real help, be more detailed!! BEFORE YOU BREAK YOUR CAR!

MrPSX... I read this and immediately thought of your DIY thing... it is pretty tough, I thought there was a hidden screw (like the ones in the dash) but it was just a matter of forcing it out

You cannot use the new bulbs!!!!
They are 1156's - Single filament bubls, you need to use your old ones or get some superbright 1157's - Dual filament bulbs!

That'll fix your problem Alpha male

when my car was wrecked it broke the the corner assembly [among other things] as well as damaging the recepticle for the bulb. I ordered the Kspec corners, but didn't know this would be an issue. Is it possible to get that part off of an elantra or something [no tib's in the junk yards around here]?

it's not really an issue 89. just get the corners from kspec, and put new bulbs in it or use your old ones.

you'll just have to take the connector off the new one and use the old one.
