my stock got cracked by my lovely wastegate. and i didnt wanna get an old stock radiator that may be damaged.. hard to tell sometimes if a rad. is damaged or leaking without testing.

right... so instead of buying another (oem/stock) rad for replacement... might as well get the koyo

and for the fact that, i had money at the time i bought the koyo. and wanted a koyo.. and i had a couple problems of overheating when boosting around for a while. didnt have alot of overheating problems, but the car would like to heat up on the highway after a while. didnt take into consideration the thickness tho. lol now i need to redo my manifold, o well, its free.

How you gettin that done for free?

Oh, I was talking about flushing the coolant system, to make sure you get all the gunk and sludge/rust/scale out of the block before putting your new radiator on.

Someone told me that this radiator also fits the RD1 tiburon. is this true ? The hose connections do look the same only the hoses do not realy look the same.

I was thinking about the koyo radiator with a 1999-2001 tib hose kit wil that fit ?

the 97-01 layout is EXACTLY the same.. so itll fit an rd1
