I just washed, wet sanded, washed again, dried, and started to paint. I put on about 4 coats giving ample dry time between coats. Then I put on about 3 coats of clear. They held up like a champ all winter long. I even went and repainted one of my enkei's super silver again. It's a PERFECT match. Make sure you get a glossy sheen with the last coat of clear you put on. You can't polish this stuff to a shine, even with an orbital buffer.
