Some better pics:

I just hate how poopy the carbon fiber on the wheel looks. I'm gonna see if I can have Compact Divisions overlay it with better CF.

My interior is 98% done now. smile.gif

Yes. My undeployed KIA airbag says just that on it: do not use multimeter.

So I drove it today for the first time with the new wheel (besides the minor test on my block to see if it's straight). Overall I like it, just it's a bit tougher to steer now. LNHeart, does the rubber boot on your hub rub agains the plastic steering column shroud? Cause mine does and it's annoying; not only does it squeak anytime I move the wheel, but it's making it harder to steer cause it's tight and not loose. I don't know how to adjust it, maybe stick some lube between the rubber and plastic?

Shave the plastic down, i'm assuming it has a lip on it. I had to do that for the Pony when I put the small three spoke wheel.

I've cut mine down, just enough to still cover the open space in between the plastic shroud and the steering wheel hub.

Shave the plastic like Jed said, that's what i did cause i had the same problem as you. I used a dremel to sand it down.

Ok, but what am I shaving down, the plastic shroud, right? Or the rubber boot?

Also LNHeart I got the CF sheet and cut out the new inserts. It looks a lot better so far, the CF is actually black. It's not flexible enough to cover the middle ring though. For that I'll have to get it overlayed.

Sorry for the late response, never saw this thread again.

You have to shave the plastic shroud if you havent done it yet, dont do anything to the rubber boot.

Take pics of the new CF inserts you did, maybe i'll copy you. fing02.gif

^You should definetly copy me, it looks 10x better. I will get pics later today.

And yeah I figured Id be cutting the plastic, lol. Made sense after I went back out and took a look at it.

I took the airbag fuse out, but the light still came on. So I took the light out and the car passed NYS inspection, HA.

Just took pics:
