DIY RD2 Clear corners in 30 minutes
I always prefer clear headlights, and mostly the turning signal aways clear..
While i crashed last week @ 30kph
i need a new right headlamp and right CC . so with the broken one i'm working for a led integration.. i'm working with the dremel to put some white or blu HE blu led.. i just did a test.. they look really bright .. a lot more than thought lol.gif
when off the led are completely transparent. i must decide if try with white to make a sort of daylight driving lights, or blue only for "showroom", anyway..i'f i'll do something *decent* to see.. iìll put some pics here 8)

Hey i just tried this with out the oven step and if you very carefully pry the lens off the backing it will pop off. then you just pry off the orange reflector. I made the mistake of using CA glue to re-apply the lens to the backing and the CA glue fumes adheared to the inside of the lens and turned it an awful white color. but if you use a different type of glue it turns out awesome. it took me a total of 12-15 minutes to do the whole thing start to finish.
I am going to try this on my taillights this weekend (There is moisture in the passenger side one and I want to clean it out and reseal it).
If that goes well, I will probably try this as well.

Epoxy, then seal it with silicone.
To be honest, I've never seen a set of DIY Clears that approach how good the OEM Clear Corners do. The DIY ones end up with this nasty plastic line inside of them, and almost always some yellow chips left in them. You end out putting more time into them than they are worth.
