Why aren't you using the CD2 engine detailer kit?

You want a kit? There's a store here that has it on the shelves. I just picked up a pack on Friday. It's not all dusty so I do not think it has been sitting there long. But we are O/T, send me a PM if you want me to send you some.

nice dirty engine, uh i mean nice DIY !!!

good test numbers too.

yea i noticed my engine idles a little nicer when the AC is on, not that I used any technical equipment to verify the fact, but i put my ear to the steering wheel and listened

so all in all, its a good mod for 90 bux, I say if you are running an amp, like 800 watts or better, you need this

Im in the Navy for all you who dont know, and Im a technician on destroyer, DDG 64, the USS Carney, and I never noticed till I bought this voltage stabilizer, that we have them all through out the ship, especially in the computer rooms, we use 400 hertz 450 volt on the ship, in a 3 phase setup, DELTA for all you nerds, so our stablizers are setup just like this kit from HYPER, one side to the positive and the other to the negative, and then all the power panels in the room are fed from the stabilizer, the stabilizers use capacitors the size of my fore arm, unlike the capacitors in the Hyper system which are the size of my pinky, and there are 4 of them if i remember correctly.

ok im done

oh yea REDZ, clean your dirty ass mid western engine punk !!!!

Mid Western engine?

My engine IS clean. Unfortunately, the stuff used to clean it left some nasty residue.

Did you hose her, oh, I mean it, uh... the engine... off accordingly? nana.gif I've always used engine bright and have never seemed to have a problem with it.

I do have a question. I just went down and checked my voltage at the battery as you did. My numbers are not near what yours are, even without the stabilizer! I have been noticing that my lights have been a little dim. Remember when I was having those power spikes, well, I still get them. But now I am thinking that maybe its my alt trying to kick in but then falling off most of the time, resulting in the noticable difference in the power of my lights at night. I'm at about 13.5 at idle and drops to 12.6 with the lights on. I have the obx crank and overdrive pulleys on, but I was noticing this well before I installed them. You think it could be my alt?? Let me know if you can think of anything. Thanks!

Yes, I did, but it was Citrus Engine Bright. Nasty shit.

With your system and all that rice... I mean ICE haha.gif fing02.gif nana.gif , yeah, it prolly is your alternator. Especially if you have some higher voltage bulbs in your headlights like I do.

I'd start shopping for a new one, or a BETTER one my friend.

Great DIY. I just had the system installed but for the last step about the alternator, where exactly should I connect the cable?
