Just a quick question. Did you have this system in a normal speaker box before hand? I am just wondering the sound difference between the normal wooden box and the fiberglass. I wanted to do fiberglass at first but because of my system I cannot. I would have to actually have a wooden box built then put fiberglass around it for looks.(My sub is 70 pounds and puts out 144db

In my personal opinion, it sounds better. I used to have my speaker pointing straight up at the hatch. Now I've got alot more room to store stuff. It dosn't sound as good when I've got my trunk packed with stuff, but it sounds ALOT better when my trunk is empty. Unfortunately because of the extra space, I tend to pack my trunk with cleaning supplies and stuff.

make sure the airspace is right and the speaker box is heavy. It should sound better.
