You're welcome, I guess. Specs & instructions should be on hyundaitechinfo.com

hey nice Diy... this has helped me out alot! I have a couple questions though. What else could i use to pop the lower control arm off if i dont have a pickel fork? This next one is kinda a noob question but i see that some oil comes out when u take the cv axle out, how do i refill it or do i even need to put more transmission fluid back in there? Can somebody help me out because im taking it out tonight or early in the morning and need to know, thanks!

You don't actually need to pop the lower control arm off. taking off the 2 strut bolts, and steering the wheels in the right direction will be plenty to get the axle in/out (maybe get it out of the tranny first, and push it upwards).

A ton of the tranny fluid will leak out and will need to be replenished.. search for manual transmission fluid, there are a few threads.

I'd recommend draining the fluid first though Radu, much less messy than letting it pour out the axle hole.

^ Oh yeah definitely, very messy letting it drain out there.. i had thought the DIY made clear that you should drain it the normal way first.

Not to thread jack this diy or anything but i finally got the axle out. I didnt let it drain the normal way though...i juss let it come out when i pulled it. But one thing i noticed when i pulled it out that the fluid look like engine oil!? I wasnt for sure or not, so i popped the hood and checked my oil and it was low. So im just asking...is it normal for the engine oil to come out through there or what?

lol it can't be engine oil.
transmission oil is similar to engine oil, usually smells worse though

Most if not all cars have 2 oil systems. One you hear about and its ingrained into your skull and the other no one ever wants to talk about.

The engine has its own oil system that you are familiar with but so does the transmission.

Most automatics have a transmission oil filter as well. Manual's do not have a filter (donno why though).

Most non people have no clue about transmission oil system or care. They jsut drive around and get their engine oil changed but never worry about the transmission.
