Okay, most of the text on this DIY will be in the photos. I will update the DIY listing tomorrow.
This is my car upon return from Korea in October last year.
The problem when installing the front strut bar is that there is a Knock sensor mounted to one of the nuts that holds down the bar. You can't effectively (especially if you want it to look pretty), install the knock sensor back in place with the strut bar there. If you change the ORIENTATION of the sensor, your car will run like Yamenenko responds to a Customer Service issue. Very poorly.

Note A: After completing this mod you will notice that the bolt that is holding your sensor bracket in place is perfectly lined up with this second hole. I've had no issues for over 6,000 miles after this mod, but if you are afraid that your sensor may loosen and tip over, then drill a hole in your bracket and move the bracket down a bit lower so you have 2 bolts holding it.
That part was simple too, just take the 2 bolts off that hold the sensor to the bracket, spin the bracket (You MUST spin it clockwise!!! wink.gif ) 180 Degrees and rebolt it down.
It's very simple guys, and it looks and works perfect. I'm going to cut off the bracket at the green line like it says. Think it'll look even better then.
Post if you have questions or problems.

Yeah, I think I know why.
Damnit.
I'd upload them here at RD but then I'd have to upload them somewhere else to use at HA.com too.
I'm trying to fix it.

Thanks a ton REDZ for posting that. I had been told by a few people that it didn't matter what I did with it, so for the time I had just left it dangling there. My car had been running rough before installing strut bar, but I bolted it on just like you said, and it helped tremendously. Car shifts much smoother now (auto). Thanks REDZ :-D

No problem man, I figured enough folks had TALKED about it, no one had DONE anything about it.
If you guys are registered at HA.com, I did post this there too. If you find it's helped or I have, go give me a rating there.
