Don't care. Those public sites are all full of spam, viruses, spyware... shut 'em all down. I stick to private sites that rarely take new people.

 

You can avoid the spam, viruses, and spyware if you're even halfway careful.

Quite a few of my friends have complained about viruses/spyware after they download torrents. If they took a second and looked at what they were downloading they would realize its probably not legit.

 

Or the alternative. Get a job and "buy" things.

If what I want was available for purchase, I would buy it. Only reason why I don't pay for TV service is because I shouldn't have to pay for the service and ALSO be forced to watch ads. If it's got advertising, it should be free. I pay for my internet service. I use that to watch shows without the ads.

 

Damn near every television show gets a DVD/BD/etc release and/or is available some on-demand service.

No, my argument is that after purchasing the bread, I'm mot going to pay someone to allow me to eat the bread I bought. If I could pay to download a show without advertisements on the day it airs, I would gladly do it.

 

Then you didn't buy the bread. You bought the plate the bread was served on, decided it wasn't to your liking and stole the rest of the meal.

You're still stealing. As nice and shiny as you want to make that turd, you still took a sh*t and tried to pass it off as gold.

 

I pay $105/mo. for my bread. Oh, and I fully admit it's stealing. I'm gonna keep right on stealing until someone offers to sell me something I don't mind paying for. I'm not gonna pay to watch ads. Period. Not willing to negotiate. Offer me programming with no ads and I will pay for it.



You may be too young, but when I first stated paying for cable TV, there were no ads. Your monthly subscription fee paid for the programming.
