im not sure if you can download the SDX stock app remover standalone, as it was an option (out of 7) in the root process when i did my rooting.

Yes. Sorry, I wasn't clear. I don't know if I was even logged into AIM anywhere, but it forwards to my e-mail when I'm away. I just meant that I wasn't logged and able to respond when you sent the msg.

i have the captivate galaxy s and i like it a lot, but i have custom rom installed on the phone because eithe at&t or samsung are effin' around and havent bothered releasing the froyo update for it.



my gf have the htc aria and it has the 2.1 eclair and still waiting for froyo. it comes full of bloatware and its almost out of storage already. with froyo you can put most of the apps on the sdcard and save the internal storage.

 

I'm still getting used to the speech recognition. I find I can type faster than I can speak.



I was not able to root my phone with t 1 click method. I ended up using the 1 click firmware with a manual method. I loaded up a custom rom. The rom with some custom version of a giorgio armani custom phone Software. Apparently giorgio armani had a custom found a signed in the firmware matches perfectly with this hardware. :-)



I'm telling you this thing screams now it's a lot faster than it was when it came from the factory. The custom rom image remove all of the at&t bloatware. The difference is like night and day I can't imagine that anyone would rather have it stock then with this custom rom. It's amazing that at&t would destroy a phone like that or samsung would just not care enough to make it right.



This thing is now way more powerful faster and more accessible when it came from the factory. I went back and looked it up the rungs name is called andromida. All I can say is andromida for the win.
