Default Anyone using Firefox 4 yet?

Its still in beta but Im wondering what you're thoughts on it are. Not sure if I want to stay with 3 or make the plunge and go to 4 now. Might just wait until theres a stable release of it first.

FF 4 has some problems with IPB forum software. I haven't checked it since we upgraded but I still have it installed on my desktop

^^ That was not firefox 4. That was previous versions of firefox 3, but you just never got that on Windows. Those binaries were pushed out to me on Linux. Firefox 4 just used the same binaries.

I have not yet tested it. I like having a menubar on my desktop. My netbook operates like a Mac in that the menubar is a fixed part of the desktop located at the top of the screen and it changes per window selected. That is really the main thing that was upgraded in the firefox version 4... You get more usable space. Ubuntu Netbook Remix took care of that in a different manner, so I've got no reason to run out and upgrade.

I may try it though. Linux download: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/product...nux&lang=en-US

Yes, it was in the last versions of FF3 but it also happened in FF4. I was able to recreate the problems you were having in a Windows environment.

I have FF4 Beta on my Vista desktop and it was very unstable. This was two months ago, haven't updated the beta - I saw no reason to use FF4 over FF3.??
