If you think dough mixers deserve more than $17 an hour, you're nuts. Most people in food industries would kill for wages like that, nevermind ask for more. Idiots.......

That's not my experience. I would say it is average for large food factories.

Apparently there was a slew of bad CEOs coming in/out, and being paid large sums as they cycled through without improving results.



I think I need to strive for that career path. Go in, grab a few million, do nothing, profit.

As one who has gone through 3 plant closings I'll say this. Once they approach the workers with the though of closing a plant, it's already written in stone.

They've been battling with the bankruptcy and losses for nearly a decade. This isn't something that happened overnight.
