Default Venison Burgers

A friend of mine got a couple of deer already this year and gave me a bunch of venison meat. I took 7 lbs of course ground venison and 5 lbs of fatty beef chuck, mixed them together then fine ground for burgers. Venison has no fat at all so by adding the fatty beef chuck gives you a nice juicy hamburger. Great for meatloaf & meatballs too. Anyone else do anything like this?

You have to add fat if you want patties to stick together also.
