I eat whole wheat grain cereal in the morning along with a bagel. Both have around 3g of fat and 9g of protein, cals are around 200s. But lately I'm reading up online and starting to realize how labels tend to be full of sh*t and there is no strict regulation. With that being said should I just stick to traditionally clean foods such as nuts, almonds, whole wheat peta bread and what not or still adhere to labels? it seems like I eat foods which can be considered not very "diety" but when you look at their labels it gives the impression that their nutritional proportionals are pretty damn good.

Source on food labels being wrong?
The labels are usually fine, the problem usually lies with the morons that don't read them.

If you can read everything on the ingredients list out loud the first try, either you studied latin and paid attention in school, or it is probably safe to eat in moderation and still be ok on any sane diet. Unless it's candy or ice cream.
