Default Chocolate covered bacon?

While eating my morning pancakes and bacon I wondered what it would be like to make some chocolate covered bacon. I did a search and found out it had been done for ages. Next time I make bacon I will have to try this.

Must be good if it's bacon.

Yea we sell chocolate with bacon in it at the liquor store I work at. Get questions about it ALL the time, nobody buys it since it's almost $8 a bar lol.

I have some exotic chocolate. In addition to chocolate with Applewood smoked bacon, I also have chocolate with Chipotle and Cinnamon.

I'm not a huge fan of chocolate ruining my bacon.

^^^ I call it "original recipe". Chocolate was originally a spicy, bitter drink called Xocoatl.

Americans have been brainwashed to think you can only have Chocolate with dessert, I'm glad to see more folks coming around!

Mole` sauce, based with chocolate, is great on chicken.

Now, chocolate bacon, I've had, and wow it goes together well. Just think about how good things like chocolate covered pretzels and peanuts are, salty and chocolate go good, and so does chocolate and chile.

Give it a shot man, but sprinkle it with some chipotle powder before it dries.

You'll go NUTS.
