NO CHEESE CURDS! It's not REALLY a poutine without cheese curds.

You can used shredded cheese if you like, but it's not the same. Nothing beats squeaky fresh cheese curds in a poutine. Gravy... whatever you like.

For anyone in the Ottawa area, this is a small poutine from Chip's and Dairy on Bank street. THIS is what a poutine should look like. It is THE BEST tasting poutine around.

Well the curds are really just chunks of cheese. So really just grab a bunch cheese and cut it down to little pieces or just break the cheese apart.

I just watched that Muppets at the Montreal Comedy Festival and the Swedish Chef made Poutine. Made me want some.

I haven't had poutine in far too long. I think I need to remedy that.
