That sucks V. If it were me I would have killed the friend. I don't care what the excuse is, they were in charge of something so simple and it went wrong. I have always had a hard time forgiving people for stupid sh*t that could have been easily avoided.

Update:
- Got all 4 the flares cut off
- Got the car completely sanded
- Fenders are glassed over to fix where the flares were screwed in
- Front bumper, fenders, and side skirts are molded again
- Drivers door is sanded down
Whats left:
- Tape off car
- Prime
- Paint
- Clear
- Buff & color sand to perfection
I'll be able to get that all done today hopefully. I'm up early to start this and get it finished by tonight. Since the flares are cut off and ruined, I decided to have some fun and do a little extra work on the rear of the car. I wont let the cat out of the bag, but I'll post before and after pics this weekend and see who notices the change. wink.gif

Update:
Primed, sanded, base coats applied, sanded, and 5 top coats done. Everything is drying with the heaters going now in the garage, and then I'll start the clear coats in about an hour. Then its a little more sanding, buffing, and I'll be good to go! smile.gif

Been running around all day like a mad man, but here are some pics of the new fun stuff I did....
Shaved rear bumper. So this means the front bumper/fenders, sideskirts, rear pods, and rear bumper are all 100% completely molded now! The entire car has a very smooth and free flowing look to it.

Since the flares got destroyed and chunks were taken out of them....it would of been way too much of a pain to repair them. So they were chopped off the car, and everything was returned back to normal, with the exception of the rear bumper being molded, and my own little home made metal work on the car, to give the wheel arches a little bit of a lip:

Car got a little dirty from driving it around today, but tomorrow before I hit up the car show...it'll get a nice wash and quick detail. smile.gif
