He comes to town nearly every year regardless of whether he has a new album or not, and he sells the venue out for two nights in a row. Some people I know go both nights. And other people I know who show no outward signs of even liking him enough to go brave what amounts to f*cking hell go and brave f*cking hell to see him play Ants Marching, since that's pretty much his only hit unless you just can't live without hearing the massively depressing Crash or Gravedigger. It's not like he's a really awesome guy that you can't help but support either. He's a massive douchebag in real life. His songs aren't particularly panty-wetting either.

I hear this all the time.....people bashing DMB.

The reason I listen to them is mostly because of just general acoustic variety and talent. They are also an old classic.

With 7 studio albums and twice as many live albums and each one after Crash has hit #1 on the charts. With Crash having 7 Platinums and Under the Table Dream having 8, I think it's pretty understood why people like them so much.
