Well, The Tib Might Be Totalled Out Tomorrow.
i wish i could, manthis shit would be easy to fix but i have no place to do it ( i live in a condo association) and the storage areas around here won't let cars in them. I am going to buy a honda. I am sorry to say it.
Acura Teggy here i come.
well, i found a tiburon and i might get it. 2000, manual , 45k miles, great shape. The only bad thing is that it has no spoiler. We shall see.

sorry to hear your loss. you should definitely stick with a tib though, Tegs are just too common everywhere!
and plus RD2 without spoiler looks hot imo. especially with a body kit like Cuda 2

well, i drove that tiburon decribed above and it shifted fine, no noises and was smooth and the clutch was pretty good for me sucking at driving the damn thing. I got on it and it did very well. I noticed that the car had been repainted due to bolts on the car for the license plate were painted over. I had no dings, no dents, but a few scratches on the hatch that you actually had to look for. My father, who is helping me with the money, said that it could have been in a wreck and that it could be someone else's problem. I dunno.
I need to learn how to drive stick a bit better. I guess all it takes is practice?

Yes, you will get better with practice. Just takes a little time. Even someone who is experienced at driving with a manual transimission needs an adjustment period when driving a different car because they are all a little different in how they behave.
You might want to have someone check the car out thoroughly. Put it up on a hoist to make sure there are no serious problems with it or heavy collision damage. Good luck!

For $270 I would buy your tib back..if anything you could fix it up for $1000 and sell it for around 2700, that would make you a thousand in profit mang. Also, if you get a new tib make SURE its a 5spd...you won't be disappointed smile.gif
i would have bought it back the day of the accident if i had an area to do it in. I have no garage and couldn't get the parts within a week. SO, i plan on buying this 2001 that i just drove the past couple days. Hopefully, it will work out. Once i buy it, i will post pictures.
Bad News for me being an RD driver, but good news for me.
I am buying a 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8l that has 38k on it from a friend of the family that owns a local dealership. The car got traded in for an srt-4, so i am buying the sentra for alot less than what they could get for it usually. Retail for it is 12,900 and I am getting it for 7k even. I am kind of bumbed out that i can't get an RD, but i will buy another one here shortly.

wth? that doesn't sound like USAA...
my explorer cost $30,000 and i got into an accident a year and a half ago and the bill to fix it was $17,000
it's wierd that they just totalled it out.

i thought it was weird also. USAA is the best insurance out there though, so i will just go with the flow. I will buy another rd, and hopefully this next time....I will do it right and just make it a project and not my daily. We shall see.
