Just called the dealership. They stated that the car is there and that they are still waiting on insurance people to show up. I dunno why USAA is taking soo long to get this done.

I am young and impatient. It took my mother 3 weeks to get hers done when her accident happened.

damn. Those aren't that difficult. $1000 is a bit steep i believe. But it seems to be a trend from what I have been hearing.

Just received the bad news abotu 3 hours ago (3:30pm est). the car has been totalled out due to it going to cost way to much to fix it. I look at the damage and the only things need were:

Front Bumper, Bumper cover, Hood, One corner light, and possibly a new radiator. No damage to anything else. Man, only if i had a garage...I could fix it part it out. I dunno what to do.

did the bags blow?
there's no way it should be totaled from just the hood, bumper, headlights, and radiator.

bs..

so if they total it what happens to your car? you don't get to see it? how much is the check gonna be?

I am receiving a check for 2700 hopefully soon. I just went and looked at it and the damage is what was stated above. and no the airbags did not blow. I am going to try and buy it back. I believe it is only 10% of the total cost of the car, so it should be around 270 or so.

We shall see.

Edit: I pulled the rims, put the stock ones on and will probably pull the headunit also.
