wytch when I get back home I'll find the article, but I only glanced at it. The 3trill only accounted for the u.s. But even then there would be loopholes with how many connections and passengers come through.Themachines are similar to those in that Swarzennegger movie. I think it said even with those machines, it wouldn't be effective enough. Haha I thought your d&@k comment was funny I meant to say.

Why not expand and give some people some jobs and expand the air Marchall's? I dont think anyone would have an issue with 2 on every flight. Were not talking con air type but visible presence.

More security ON planes = Win.

More security on ground = Win only if it is efficient, WORKS, and inexpensive. Currently = Fail. Proposed = FAIL

good stuff. I only have some information on the price of those things.

I have seen them in action overseas. They can be very effective... but they are only as effective as the person operating it and judging by some of the awesome TSA people (not all but some) They will be as effective as throwing fruit at people standing in line for the normal metal detectors.

On that note, if they are paying a decent bit of money to throw fruit at people. I will take that job banana.gif

the goal of the terrorist is not to beat us thats impossible and they know it. there goal is to try and make us beat our self. we have to adapt our security measures to stop them without loosing what makes us who we are. LIBERTY.

Easily many billions of dollars of lost productivity. And there's no reason for it. The security measures don't help, they're just inconvenient for everyone. It would be so simple to circumvent these measures that it's not even funny.

Unless they're figuring it'll make it such a pain in the ass to fly that terrorists won't bother because they won't be able to stand the delays.</div>

the last changes they made were partialy paid for by the airports and airlines causing many of them to go bankrupt, out of business, or enter merger madness. BangHead.gif

The terrorists have won man.....

look at halloween and christmas. since 9/11 i've seen a huge drop in happiness and festivities around the holidays. but on to the airport.

dude flying will never be safe from "threats" unless EVERY single passenger is screened thoroughly. really dude, who cares how long you have to wait, at least you don't have to walk there with your mule. you get to ride in a super fast plane.
