First off, why does it have to showcase anything? Why can't something be there for simple astethic looks? Because you like it? Because it looks cool? Most wings are on cars these days for JUST that reason.

In THIS case, if you would have BOTHERED to look at the first thread, you'd have seen pretty cool pictures of a VERY nice trunk setup with a similar trunk plate in it. It SHOWCASES the audio system and the lighting setup in the trunk, VERY well. Again, you own yourself with the lack of reading.

Redz you still haven't answered my question? What is the purpose of plexi in the hatch? I still don't get it! I probally never will. But so be it. Just because i have Lexi in my box dosen't make me a ricer. Like i said, I wish i wouldn't have do it. But I do not have the car nor the time to build a new box. But the problem with putting lexi in box is the stress on the screws. I had 24 screws holding it in place with on center brace. 22 of the 24 screw's heads snaped off and then i added a center brace. I was also useing 1/4" lexi. Also i've dealt with plexi in aircraft and know how hard it is to keep nice wich is why I would do neighter.

But i guess we can get back on track with flameing me! How can opinion be wrong??? The purpose of that cover, as has been said many times, is to add some style to the trunk of the car. As I said before, if you'd have bothered to look at the other thread with the pictures, you'd see that it looks awfully nice with some audio components under it and lit up. But, as usual, you only read what you want.
