OK, so 1 full year ago I asked my cousin who owns a body shop here in town to do my bodykit install and paint along with some body work. Bought everything it needed out of my pocket and put down $1000 to start work. He was going to cut me a deal and not charge me for the install and go cheap on the labor.
Well, it still hasn't been finished. I've been hounding him for months now, even considered taking him to court because he's had my car for a year now and hasn't finished the work. Then to make matters worse I stopped in to see how the progress was going only to find out he parked the car outside and somebody backed into it and f*ed up the rear quarter panel. blowup.gif He did an estimate for the damage: $1600. The guy that hit it is going to have his car insurance foot the bill.
I was just planning on having him paint my bodykit and hood, but now he plans on reshooting the whole car after this little incident. Soooooo I tried to look on the bright side of this and I am going to have him paint the whole car my custom color that I planed on waiting 3 or 4 years to do. House of Kolors Purple Passion Pearl. Now if I can keep on his a$$ to get the work done MAYBE I'll actually get to drive it for a month before the snow flies. Now I have to rethink my whole gameplan for the car. New rims, window tint, graphics, everything.
If he actually gets it done soon and I have the money to finish all that I want to I'll post pics up and enter it in the COTM contest for November or December. Otherwise it will have to wait till late Spring. I wont put any pics up until I'm satisfied with my car for an official unveiling. nana.gif

Sorry to hear about your troubles with the car. Too bad someone hit it while it was in the shop. Can't anyone drive anymore? How do people drive into a parked car? I've been driving for 23 years and I've never hit anyone else and I drive in lots of very heavy traffic and heavily populated areas in all kinds of weather conditions.
Anyway hope everything works out in the end and you are happy with the finished product. I look forward to seeing it!
