Well, I figured i would get a few small things for the srt, so i was doing some searching online for tinted taillight covers. I have always liked the look of the dark tail light covers as opposed to stock.

anyway, i ran a search and came up with a link for autopartswarehouse. i saw the part was made by AVS, which makes a couple different styles of tail light covers.

they make this style:
which i call the white trash style

and this style, which is what i wanted

anyway, i decided i better call up the customer service, since they didn't have a pic listed on the site, to confirm which tail lights they carried, and which ones i would be getting..

the first lady i talked to was some dumb foreign broad that could barely understand my simple question. she finally got some somewhat literate guy on the phone to help me. i told him my concern and was ASSURED they were what i was looking for.

i was deeply uncertain about this answer, so i called back, and talked to someone that sounded american, and seemed literate. they quickly confirmed that they were the right style.

so, a day later i get a tracking number for DHL.. couple days later its out for delivery.. everythings good, right? no.. i look at tracking number at like 5pm, says they tried delivery but resident wasnt home..

so i went online, verified that i gave autopartswarehouse my apartment number, call DHL and start b****ing.. well, autopartswarehouse did not give DHL my freaking apartment number.. go figure.

next day, my stuff shows up, white trash style. i IMMEDIATELY called customer service and they said that they wont reimburse the shipping, that i have to pay to send it back and i would receive a CC refund in 4-6 weeks. i was like hell no, i specifically talked to customer service to make SURE 100% i was going to get right item, and i was sent the wrong item. they still say i am liable to ship it back..

another kicker is, if i were to ship it back it would cost like 3X as much as it needs to, cuz they MAKE you ship it back in their box, which is about 5X as big and heavy as the item..

i went to file complaint on BBB website, but they are not on there.. any other things i can do to piss this place off for their bad business.

File a complaint with your CC and find the SRT and Dodge forums and rant there too!

Ya a simple call to Mastercard for me and they would reverse the charge and file claim.

i would just file a complaint with credit card company and you should get your money back and that will piss them off even more.

I'm still waiting for my EBC brake pads or a refund. I ordered on May 1st, now over 10 months ago. I've asked for a refund repeatedly and they agree but it never happens. Now I'm out my money and have no brake pads to show for it. Maybe I'll get them just in time for my new pads to need replaced. lol. APW is a joke...and a bad joke at that. The pads were marked as in-stock but customer service has admitted that they were a special order item when I've talked to them before.

If your order goes right with APW you're fine, but if anything goes wrong you're left out in the cold bigtime.

ive been repeatedly emailing them, back and forth.. each time i get an email response, its from a different person, but replying to my email, asking for the situation, and i keep getting told that my situation doesn't 'fit' their return policy and im responsible to ship it back.

i told them that i will tarnish there companies name and potentially steer away thousands of customers cuz they wont pay ~10$ to ship their WRONG item back, and refund me.

I agree w Mad_john. I too favor the mafia-like aproach to handling these situations.

Thanks for the heads up, won't be buying from there.

Also like others said, call up your CC company and tell them you didnt get the item you ordered, and they will reverse the charges 99% of the time. Then you have some leverage to make them pay the shipping.
