well i went out to install my steering wheel today, thought it would be easy/straightforward... welll taking it off was a PITA, cuz the soft, brittle metal that i had to thread into to take the steering wheel off.

anyway, just bugged me, but wasnt that bad..

go to throw my ebay hub on... splines are wrong.. but it fit hella tight up to the splines.. i figured wth, it was 20 shipped, ill mod it to fit.. so i took a dremel to the splines (its alumminum, compared to the splined steering wheel shaft.) and pounded the SOB on there. lol yah i get a lil pissed sometimes.. neways, i couldnt pound it on there far.. the thing is tight as an SOB and i culd barely fit the nut back on there.. but the thing is tight as hell.. so i duno it dont look like itll ever move or slip, so i think i should be good, and ill invest in a quick release grant or momo hub sometime, but this shuld be good for now..

PITA ebay products.. but hey cant beat 40 shipped for steering wheel and hub..

I paid about $AU35 for mine on ebay & it fit like a glove. Maybe they sent you the wrong one.

Here's the seller I got it from. Ask them about postage. Mine came directly from Hong Kong, if I remember correctly.

You just need to tell them the make & model of your car when you order & they'll send the one you need.

 

i will get pics soon.. i might look into getting this hub though.. cuz even though i have it fitting DAMN tight, id rather have one that fits right, and ill never have to worry about nething.. that one looks EXACTLY the same as mine.. just probably different spline..
