This was the tib I was after.. a Dark Forest Green number from 1999.

I had the high bid on this car for 5 days.. and 5 seconds before the auction was over, lost by $10. The guy who won it seems to buy all the cheap ebay cars in the Poughkepsie NY area and then parts them out. I wanted to save this car too.

Pics.

doesn't look too bad till you get to this pic...

definatly needed a new door and work to that rear fender.
It also needed a new trans as the original had a hole in case from letting a leak drain the gear oil and then driving the car till the transmission was dry.

And I had a line on a door and trans too. Oh well. There has to be another dark green 99 out there somewhere!

I thought about it.. but my bimmer voiced it's displeasure of me having another working car by breaking it's exhaust manifold yesterday. It already has fairly tubular "headers" all equal length and stuff.. it broke right at the weld where it bolts to the head.. about $800 new.. I am going to try and get it taken off and welded

yup. for what I have planned.. dark green is necessary. Going for a black (interior) Dark green, anodized bronze, and some polished look. It is going to be pretty.

Looking on autotrader.com there is a dark green 99 in chicago for sale.. hmmm
