Well, I had been bidding on an '01 RD and hadn't been outbid in the last 4 days. I've been watching it for the last hour and been constantly refreshing. I had sh!t lined up I was going to buy and everything... The last minute - refresh every possible second I can. 50 secs - still highest bidder... 10 secs - still highest bidder... 5 secs - still highest bidder... 3 secs - still highest bidder... 1 sec - YOU HAVE BEEN OUTBID... Bidding has ended mad.gif I don't even know what to say... that's the second time I've been c0ckblocked on E-Bay (the last time, I was going to "Buy it Now" during my lunch break and someone "Bought it Now" at 11:00 AM

F#ckin $h!t, it was perfect (for the price) chairshot.gif

Everybody's asking so much for RD's around here (the cheapest I can find is an '01 with a SALVAGED title for $4900 - won't go lower; the others won't budge either) that even though I want one, I'm not going to bend over for it. So THAT's why I've always bought cars new tired.gif

you are the victim of an auction snipping program. they are all over the web. you can sign up with all your ebay info and it will automatically make your bid with a couple seconds left.

I've cooled down now... it was some member with an e-bay rating of "8" and the last item he bought was some cheap jewelry a month ago (lucky lady). There are better tibs out there, but I was going to be able to get it (with shipping from Mass to TX) for $3200 sad.gif All it needed was a new rear quarter panel and timing belt change. The most I can afford to spend is $5500 for one and from what I can tell, the only RD2 I can find (no matter the miles) that fits that is the one with the salvage title. Oh well... the search goes on.

there is a red 2001 tib i was looking at here and they wanted 1600 for it. it needs new front bumper hood fender corner lite radiator support and where the passenger side meets the radiator support is a bit bent but its still perdy cheap only if it was a manual i would have bought it.

i have never been able to buy anything from ebay i keep geting outbid too.

Yup, everytime I find an RD being sold by a private owner (more reasonable pricing), it's always an auto 02.gif

Glad to see you can post! (Thanks Sparty)

Yeah, I have one suggestion, try your local paper, or cars.com. They usually have very reasonable prices and Tiburons in good condition. I also like your thoughts on Autos, miserable things I tell yeh. Miserable.

^^^ yeah, the other cars I have are auto and the traffic I deal with for work is killer, but on the weekend and at night, I really miss driving a manual.

Also, thanks for the help, apparently I had to post an introduction topic owned.gif I went in the newbie forum but tried to reply lol
