well i just got ahold of rockford racecraft, and made an apointment for tommorrow morning, there going to make a 8 inch extension to connect the two parts of the exhaust, just means ill have to install the 97 manifold tonight, and drive there open dowpipe. that should be entertaining. plus he said it wont be more then 30 bux cause i know the owner. plus im having them cut off the flange, weld on the longer pipe, and re-weld the flange so i will be able to unbolt it like it was stock

im looking forward to hearing my tibby on a stock exhaust set up down to the muffler with no cat, im thinking low end power will suffer a bit, but top end should make up for it, and the stock muffler should keep the buzzing to a minumum.

well as of today, my car is now fixed........

i had to have a 6 inch section of pipe made to fit the 97 mani to my 01 cat back. but as of now. im running no cat, and both o2 sensors with no o2 simulator, yet havent thrown a CEL so im quite happy.

Good to hear you got it taken care of. Did you have to go to a different dealer? or did you convince them to do it at the first one.

it was a ghetto hack i made from my friends 97 mani i had after installing his obx one on his car. took a few mods, but it works, so im happy.
