First off, I normally don't speed I almost always follow the speed limit for the sake of gas mileage. Anyways last night i was driving down to UT, I had just seen a cop get off the exit so I figured there wouldn't be another one around so close on the highway, there was nobody around me for like a good mile or 2 on each side so I floored it to 100 as soon as I reached it I let off the throttle, I was distracted by my pretty, new AOS gauge faces and didn't see the cop with the radar gun sitting under the bridge in the dark as I was slowing down>he got me going 96. So basically me=dumbass, forgot it was the end of the month, and the one time i speed for like 10 secs I get caught. He didn't get me for reckless driving thankfully, but I still have to go to court, and also didn't have a 2008 registration (had the 08 tags just didn't have 08 registration in glovebox only 07.) Btw it was in a 55 mph section of the highway, but even the trucks don't go that speed. Heard this saying yesterday, "to be old and wise, you have to be young and stupid first," figure it fits pretty well haha.

I bet you wish you invested a couple hundred in a radar detector smile.gif
Sorry, it's annoying when it happens especially when you don't speed a lot!

For me, I usually get one a year and for some reason it always happens around nov. dec time. never fails. I try to avoid that area now. My most expensive was $295 doing 95 in a 55 on I95 in a rental.

this site could be for you lol, i don't remember where I saw it on the news maybe? anyways you pay a monthly fee and this company pays any ticket you get and if you have one ticket like that a year, it pays for itself: http://trafficare.net/default.aspx
