i went to pick my brother up from school and guess what happens.
i'm two cars in back of the guy in front of me and he hits the brakes out from nowhere and i brake. my car slides from two cars a way and hits him. i was only going 10-18 mph. lucky me since my car was lowered my front went under his back bumper. he ends up with only scratches on his bumper and me, my hood is smashed and the front reinforcement bar that the stick for holding the hood is bent down, and my headlights are pressed in.

pro- i didn't get a ticket but the other did.
con- insurance is going up now.

My Tib was in an accident in the snow.

When my cousin owned it he was running late for work (as per usual then lmao.gif ) and was tailing a ranger.

The ranger decided to brake and Brian (cousin) broke late and spun the Tib into a snow pile twisting the fender in and bending the drive shaft.

Cost him a pretty penny to get the mechanics fixed and I straightened the fender for him (that area is still in primer 2 years later lmao.gif )

As for the weather here? well it's bloody lovely. Yesterday was proper chilly round the willy but today ot's lovely and warm, sun is out in force..

The day Art came over (thurs) it was almost 70. Cant grumble smile.gif

I have no doubt we will get the snow, but the nice part about this new place is that it's on 322 and links into 47 (both major roads here in south jerz) so they will be cleared very quickly.

I'm only about 3 miles from work now too instead of 7 so I am already missing driving the tib as much.

I took a drive into Mullica Hill last night and sat outside wawa watching the mid part of the Italian Job. You should see the stares you get watching a 10" tft in a tib smile.gif

that suuuucks man. but it can be fixed. why the hell would your insurance go up for something you didn't even have any control over? it's sh*tty when those kinds of accidents happen when people don't pay attention.

excuse for an F2 Bumper. cool.gif

Well, to be honest you shouldn't be following that close in the snow anyway. How you didn't get a ticket I dunno.

2 car lengths is a pretty good distance...you hit your brakes too hard i think, well, harder than you had to obviously, because he hit the brakes..he didn't lose control..

he probably had anti-lock brakes.. not too many 97s do. Honestly, good luck, I hope the insurance company fixes it instead of totaling it

Insurance companies do not look at that.. they look at the book prices of the parts and then the labor. When I wrecked my tib, it really only needed a new front bumper cover, radiator support, and a radiator, and they still totalled it
