ok so i was talking to a few people and alot of people said this would be a good mod to do but, also when i was talking to a few other people they said it would be a bad one to do bc since the cam gear when you change it, it is used with a smaller belt therefor it spins less than it would with a normal belt thus causing more heat in the engine. I just want to hear what everyone has to say bc im mad and don't know what I should do.

Ehh, first you'd have to worry about finding someone that MAKES a smaller cam gear. WTF would you want a smaller cam gear for?
The only "TIMING BELT GEARS" I've seen for us, by every company, are OEM sized, including the one I have.

I ran a smaller crank pulley (For the accessories) for over 60,000 miles with NO drawbacks. Yes, the lights would dim at idle, but that was it. I would not recommend one if you have a high powered system in your car that sucks major amps.
As for the cam pulley. The cams run at exactly 1/4 engine speed.. going to a smaller pulley would speed that up (the smaller pulley is already at the crank) and that would mess the timing up and the pistons and valves would meet in a terrible way.
Not picking on you.. but you need to get the terminology straight.
