As some of you know, I have Crohnes disease, a rather aweful intestinal dysfunction that had made my life a living hell time and time again over the last 16 years...

Well today, I was just diagnosed with an intestinal infection. While not perminent like Crohnes, it has many of the same symptoms and is making me run a fever around 103 degrees... I really hate being ill. The only thing I hate more than being ill is being cold.. being ill and cold is the absolute worst!

 

I feel for you man. My girlfriend's mother has this disease, and I know how hard it is.

yeah man, i can only imagine how bad that must be.

hope you recover from the intestinal infection soon.

 

At one point, my physician suspected I had Crohn's disease, but all the tests came out negative (with one being "iffy"). I can understand somewhat of what you're going through, being suspected of it. I'm very prone to illness, especially internal infections. My body just sucks at being a defender. Keep your head up. Eat right and relax. smile.gif

I think I know how you feel, I've had a weird tummy ache for a while now. I'm not kneeled over with pain, thank god, but it's like I dunno, like someone is pinching me from the inside out. All the tests so far, show nothing, maybe it's an ulcer, I dunno. Anyway going for more tests in the new year. 02.gif
Doc says it's stress, but it's lasted longer than what I would considered to be "stress"

thanks guys.. after a rather rough night, my fever is mostly broken.. hanging around 99 instead of 103... now I gotta get through 6 more days of Ciphrofloxian to clean everything out of my intestines....
