I don't know...I don't really care much because RDTib is obviously not "work" so if you get caught here at work, you're busted regardless if it's girls or not...but girls could definitely make it worse.

If asked though, I would certainly agree that avatars and sigs should be work-safe.

That way, we can still see avatars and easily recognize posts, buit don't have to have ass all over the screen (not that it's a bad thing...but....)

Turning off avs/sigs is a little unfair as it takes away ALL avatars when one is only trying to avoid a few.

^Like he said. I would like avatars and sigs to be work-safe; not because I actually need it to be work safe (don't have a boss wink1.gif ), but because it annoys me when I'm reading a car-related forum to see asses all over the place. Can't concentrate wink1.gif

I work in front of the computer, and I spend like 12 hours a day in front of it. When I finally leave it at the end of the day, there's no way I come back around it unless I got something important to do. Since I'm a software architect/programmer, I often have to wait for a couple of minutes for a compile work to finish, debug to load, etc etc. I use that time to browse RD.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people are in the same situation. Anyway, your argument has no point; I already said that me not willing asses all over the place is NOT work-related. It just annoys me in a car forum, and don't think it's the right place for it. The internet is 75% porn; I think there's enough of it so we don't need it here.

Hmm...

Very good and valid argument.

I like where this is going.

I agree, and I was actually going to post this topic the other day when Patreezy had his other avatar.

I agree, its a website and everyone is free to do what they want, but I feel at least most of the people here work in an office atmosphere and it is hard to have this open on my breaks without someone walking by. I havnt gotten in trouble with this yet, but the last thing I need is someone getting offended walking past my cube.

I too would vote to have publicly appropriate avatars only. You can still have fun without making people in offices have to close their brower at any footstep.

I dont think changing my browser settings to no pictures is an option for me, since I work with a lot of thin client applications.

Just thought I would post my thoughts...

Yea I also agree that they should be work/child safe. My computer is in the middle of everything my house, Id like it to be a little better for all ages. Also there are also girls on the fourm too so they need to be a little more respectful.
