Default Absolutely ridiculous

Ok.. So we all know I purchased the drilled rotors ($128.75) from TibbyChick week before last.. So I paid instantly, plus paypal fees (which I think is a joke, I dont charge for them).. She tells me shell ship it out next day 2-3 day priority.. Im like cool..

A week later, I try to check on them, which she ignores till I double post (I think she only responded so she could warn me for getting her attention).. She tells me she just picked them up from her boyfriend and they go out the next day.. 3 days later (yesterday) I email her telling me I either need a tracking number or I want a refund, this is getting ridiculous.. She decides to tell me that im the impatient person here (only 10 days after I paid, and still no shipment) and that she will refund my money.. Ok fine..

Next thing I know, she sends me $124.72 then I lost another $3.92 to paypal fees.. WHAT THE F***? SO basically, I lost $8 on this deal and for what?!!! All she had to do was REFUND the money and I dont lose money.. This is absolutely bs in my opinion..

I know, you all are gonna come to her rescue, because shes some special person (:roll.. But the truth be told, I think 10 days is ample time to ship a product.. And the fact that I was a good customer and paid IMMEDIATELY, none of this waiting stuff, really makes me angry..

ok. here's what i think happened w/ the "missing money"

you paypal her $128.75. Pay pal fees are like 3%. so, the amount of money TC ACTUALLY received was $124.72.... She, in return, refunded you the amount that SHE received, not the amount that you spent... Then you, in return, lost another $3.92 because of the paypal fees again...

honsestly, i think you should be upset w/ paypay, not TC. she lives a very busy life... last weekend was spent tearing a car apart, for me and a few other members. she just started workin again... patience is a virtue...

but you seem more upset about $8. looks like you should have a gripe towards paypay, not her

Like I said, everyone to her rescue.. Go figure eh?

If you do a REFUND through paypal, NOONE loses money, its ALL refunded back (paypal fee's arent charged).. And I believe that 10 days is PLENTY of time to ship a product.. She told me that they were ready (already off the car).. Whats 15 minutes to stop by the place and ship them? I sell on ebay and ive sold on other forums, hell Ive shipped internationally and its gotten there in UNDER 10 days from the date he paid..

Im sorry I dont tolerate things like this.. I understand to give a little time, but 10 days? Come on now, get real.. I spoke with her I believe twice prior to asking for EITHER a tracking number or a refund (all I wanted was my stuff shipped, paypal clears IMMEDIATELY for me, so theres no hold on the money)..

And If I must pay paypal fee's, why shouldnt she? Its not so much the $8 bucks, Im sure ill survive, its just the principle.. People like this get away with this crap on a daily basis.. Im getting screwed all the time and I ALWAYS pay instantly.. Granted, she probably doesnt like me (or alot of you, but who cares lol) all that much, but that SHOULDNT have an influence on buy/sell, and if it does, welll.....

You can kiss her ass all you want sparticus, stand up for her all you want.. It doesnt make it right.. I really needed the rotors (mine are SHOT) and I figured Id take a better set than what I could get from autozone, but not at the expense of waiting weeks for it..

btw, This was the email I received from her after I asked for a refund or tracking #: Fine if you are impatient about getting them then I'll give you your money back and sell them to someone else. Not surprised that you got banned at all.

Great mods you guys have ;/

She seems like a busy person. I paid for a 02 sensor over a month ago, and just recently found out it dosn't work and still haven't been refunded. People have lifes, and are very busy I understand. So TC if you see this, refund me whan you can or ill drive to new york and pull a "New Yorkie" drive by on you

Don't let this sound like I'm coming to her rescue iamcyclopseatme, but I too have things I am waiting on her for. Keep in mind she is taking things apart byherself, or with the aid of her beau. I think I have been waiting over 2 weeks or something like that. I don't care who you are, you are not going to go out in the damm freezing cold that has plagued this area any longer than you have to. Trust me.

She maybe could have explained what was going on a little more at first, that was her only fault. I agree with tibby01, your beef is with paypal and the gay@$$ rapepal charges.

**EDIT**

sounds like she didn't do a refund but rather sent you the money.

i do have to agree that if she said it was already off the car that it could have easily been at least sent in those 10 days. i dont even mean delivered, just sent. so thats too bad for you man. but, i really do not know TC at all, and for all i know she had something going on that she had no control over. i dont mean to "go to her rescue," but there could be something that you or me dont know. Also, i DO know that she has a shitload of other people that she has to deal with right now with parts too... so maybe shes backed up with that? i dunno. It does suck for you, but its also not the worst thing that could have happened. better luck next time man

Yeah, she should have used the REFUND method, there is not a paypal charge that way, but with your attitude, I'd have stuck you with the fees anyways. Hell, I've done it before just out of spite.

We are a much smaller community and it's obvious you have only been around a limited time, paitence is a virtue, especially when you are in on GB's and Part Outs.

A limited time? Ive been around for over a year now ;/ I was on the old site for awhile....

You all say shes busy, THEN SHE SHOULDNT BE SELLING THINGS.. When the part is OFF of the car, how hard is it to ship?

And redz, that says something about you.. You will screw someone out of spite.. You might wanna take a look at yourself, you might become a better person for it.. I know im a douchebag, that just the way I am.. But I dont intentionally screw people for ANY reason.. Hell, I sold some motorcycle parts so a guy.. They got damaged in the mail (there were 2 pieces, 1 cracked) so I refunded the guy half his payment (granted he didnt buy Insurance, but really who cares?).. Its about having respect for yourself and for others.. Obviously, some of you have neither 02.gif

All the people waiting for parts, if they had to be pulled, thats a different story.. For the guy with the o2, Im sorry, its not right.. I cant make it better for you or I would.. Im not saying im the only one being jerked around, theres lots im sure.. But thats why I started this.. People should know this..

Hell, even I screwed up the other day.. I had that shortshifter that was given to me so I was gonna ggive it away.. tibby01 paid for shipping and I went to get it packed and it was gone.. I dont know what happened to it, Im still looking through boxes (we just moved).. My bad, I made a mistake, but atleast I rectified it and refunded him his money so he didnt lose any on paypal fees (i lost a buck and a half, who cares?) because it wasnt his fault..

Sh*t happens, I understand that.. Its when people dont take responsibility for the sh*t that happens when its wrong 02.gif

Cyclops, I do mostly agree with you here. Granted, I know most people have lives, and she is selling tons of things to tons of people. But she shouldn't promise to ship out in 2-3 days if she can't, then promise again and again... regardless of weather conditions or whatever.
