I HATE to say this, cus I was so looking forward to this meet. But I don't think I'm going to go either anymore. I still could go, but it seems like no one is going. So I'll have some my money, and hopefully see some of you's at the niagra meet in september? Unless someone can change my mind to still go to HS.....

 

Well then what's the point? No one here is dedicated enough to the Hyundai scene anymore, it's pretty sad. We used to get like almost 50 people down for this meet every year, and so many cars to the point where there were almost no parking spots left.

holy CRAP. what the hell. like 2-3 weeks ago we were supposed to have about 20-25 people coming on the 19th.. i know im not coming now, which sucks, but thats cuz i cant afford to drive down the street.

im amazed how HS actually took a crap this year.. i had talked to a bunch of people that were going 110% and were so pumped, now everyone is backing out.. it wasn't even worth 1) trying to organize this in advance and 2) the big ass hissy fits over the date 3) any of my time.

i tried to help get this thing organized and get people pumped up to go and now there is going to be like 4 people at the meet, wtf.

really sorry to hear that hyundai sunday is going to turn out like this.. guess itll probably be the last one..

 

I know, it's pathetic. This meet used to be a huge deal for all parties involved. Now, no one cares.

 

That's the other thing. No one has planned for this. I saw cottonmouth on hp saying how HS is his baby and blah blah, but hes only made like 2 posts over here, and none within the last couple weeks. I have NO problems going to this event. But if it's only me Liz and Jed, I'm not gonna go, just doest seem worth it.

 

what do you mean no one planned.. i have been trying to get things together for organizing this meet for the last six or so months.. taking the whole date thing out of consideration, and even leaving hp.com out of the equation, i STILL had tried to organize everything. we had a DATE set, we had a PLACE set. what more do you need?

read the first couple of posts i made.. thats about all the info ANYONE would need to come to this meet. don't act like no one planned for this meet. at the beginning everyone acted like they would give their left nut to go to this meet and were so pumped and then people just said fvck it.

the last two years i went to this meet i was already excited for the next years meet, and i still wish i could make it up this year, even in the damn van, but i can't.

 

A date and place was obviously set, I'm not saying NOTHING was done. You did more than anyone. But as far as what we were doing that day, there was nothing, I dont even think an actual time was set. I've never been to HS before, and from what has been or hasn't been discussed, I have no idea what to expect. other than to show up at Hutches whenever till whenever, and we're gonna stand there talking all day.

 

well obviously, if you would have read, i mentioned things that could be done that day. .cruising, going to bar, etc.

you cant plan the whole day though. some people come up just for the show, some people stay the weekend. some people drink, some people dont, some people want to go out to eat.

there has NEVER been set plans for the day at a HS. just hang around most of the day at HS, then meet up with whoever you want.

obviously the meet would start in the late morning if it was going to be an all day thing.. a group usually meets afterwards at a bar or for dinner, and then most people go home after that..

 

Im 100% sure that Im going, but it looks like it will be a weekend with the GF more then anything...which I dont mind, but that was supposed to be a part of the weekend. Not the whole thing. Liz are you going to be there? I need that TPS, if you wont be there let me know so I can pay you, and you can ship it ASAP.

 

Yeah we're gonna probably swing by with friends anyway, just have it be between ourselves. I'll bring the TPS.
