hmmm.. maybe we can make the hyundai sunday thing sat-sunday... sat. we can all meet up at that one bar we met at last year, chill around the cars for a bit, get some food and drinks, and then meet up again sunday at hutches with everyone that can make it, and around 7pm, we could swing by st. catherines and pick up you guys for a nice cruise. fing02.gif

 

Theres a cruise night in Niagara Falls on Sunday nights. Its right on Lundy's Lane....its pretty big, and a lot of crazy cars....

This meet was always organized by Graham, have you even spoken to him? You have taken it upon yourself to decide on at date because a few people here have said they can go. Nate has been doing a little work for me in the organization department since I have been VERY busy with the new house we just bought. I have not had a lot of time to come on here but don't think that I havn't been doing some planning.

I would like to make this perfectly clear... The Hyundai Sunday that I plan and host will be the <span style="color:#FF0000"><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><u>ONLY</u></span></span> Hyundai Sunday. There will be no other meets by this name. If you feel that you want to plan you own meet then feel free to do so.


I want this to be a friendly meet as usual. I don't want any hostile people trying to take over.

 

I think having like a meet and greet on Saturday afternoon or something, for those that are spending the whole weekend would be good. Then have the big meet on Sunday or whatever. Make it a weekend event, or at least stretch it out past 8 p.m.

Actually, now that I think about it...around 8 p.m. that parking lot that we used last year becomes PACKED with all of the local cars. Its a popular hang out spot on Sunday nights. The cops usually show up and park in the corner, sometimes they'll walk around and check out the cars, but thats only because they're interested in seeing what people have done. It has nothing to do with hassling people, they're just there to make sure no one does anything stupid.

 

I think you have a good idea there Rix. A meet in the evening on Saturday night would be nice. We could always do the after show cruise like we did last year and end up at the Boston Manor. We can stay there till they kick us out.

I still plan on coming up. Socks, can you fill me in on what hotel you (and others) are staying at? I see it being more fun overall staying in the same place.

 

i am a for sure, plenty of time to book off of work, and hamilton is literally about a 20-25 minute drive from my city.

my one freind whos a total rotary engine nut wants to know if its alright if he comes in his RX7 if not he will come in my car, and my girlfriend might come.
