i didnt quit.. i basically got laid off.. and now, basically the wknd will be ruined, cuz if i go, ill only be able to come up on sunday, and just spend tons of $$$ on gas.. $$$ that could be used for the tons of bills that need paid... if i dont pay rent, bye bye apt.. if i dont pay util.. no more power... if i dont pay cell bill.. no more cell.. get the picture.. f***in aye..

yah kb, i culda kept the job and made enough money to support 1/2 of my rent alone each month.... so lets see, i coulda made MAX $500 a month workin there part time.. wootnes... and mah rent is $759, utils are ~$150, car insur. $225, misc. CC bills $120, cell ~$90 with gfs cell, and what other BS i need to pay each month.. guys i wish, and hope i can come, but i need to save every penny, and driving alone will cost me ~$100, then food, hotel..

Naw man, I didn't mean it like YOU quit your job. You had no choice. I'm just saying you are in panic mode right now. Anyone would be. If you've got skills you'll find a comparable job within week and if you don't have skills you could at least pick up a couple of part- time deals to make ends meet.
I'm not trying to minimize your situation, but think of this weekend as an investment in the future. If you don't relax and refresh, you might not go into your job search with a clear head and end up doing something your going to regret. Trust me bro, my wife has been out of work for 2 months now because of back issues and I've been paying all the bills, plus all the new medical bills, ect... I could definitely be spending the $$$ somewhere else, but if I don't get away, even for just a day, well who knows.....

Cell and utilities usually give you at least 30 days before they cut you off and if your that worried about rent talk to your landlord and let them know your situation.

you can skip the cell and utilities for a lil while. haha. trust me. i'm 3 months behind on both of them. then when they threaten to terminate my services, i pay off 1 month. its an endless circle.

well. good luck dude. i really hope you can somehow make it up there.

yah i know i CAN get behind on em and it wont be much of a problem, BUT i dont want my credit rating going down and having to deal with other problems... this f***ing suxors.. IF i come up now, i probably wont leave until saturday morning because i wont stay fri. night cuz im not gonna have that Xtra $$$$. so i duno i figure.. ~$100 for drivin, $65CND for hotel, ~75 for food/entertainment, should be good.. grrr.. i cant miss this wknd.. misewell not come back til late sunday now, dont have a job to come back to on monday.. f***ing hate this Mi economy.. maybe ill just stay in CND, eh?

i know ill be able to somehow make it, but i hate this stress, and thats the last f***ing thing i need.. damnit, i need to go outside and work on the tib a bit..

Ok folks.. It's on!

Check the Hyundai Sunday 2006 site for details.

This year the meet will be held at Hutch's in Hamilton. Not far from Oakville or Burlington.

There are directions on the web page.

thats freakin awesome, especially on such short notice. kudos to the dealership.

now, whats gonna go down at the dealership? is there some sort of BBQ or anything? or simply just a "meet and greet."

also, i just registered, but i'm not bringing a car.

oh... is this being advertised on NT.com? edit. nevamind. i found it at NT. wow. not much interest over there...

i bumped the thread posting that it has been moved to a different place
