So ok...just out of curiosity...what have some of the members here do (or continue to do) pertaining to drug use. This is a 100% completely anonymous poll, so dont worry about people seeing your answers if you dont want to reply or say what you voted. I am clean almost 8 years now but I have done anything and everything anyone has ever offered me. I never got to try meth (thank jeebus) But for about 4 years of my life I have random ass memories from that period. My drug of chioce was xanax, valium and hard liquor (I like the downers). Every now and then I'll smoke a doobie with my brother and I drink beer a few nights a week.
It has been a long hard road out of hell. I think about drugs all the time everyday actually. I get fucked up in my dreams and wake up feinding and going though withdraw. It's something I'm gonna have to deal with for the rest of my life I guess. I am glad that I have my wife and kids to keep me strong and straight though without them I would be buried six feet deep.

Wow, congrats on getting and staying functionally clean.
I've done some stuff in my time and filled in the appropriate blanks but I stick to booze now, and even that only occasionally more than a beer.

420 all day every day. except when i'm at work and some of my classes require my full attention. although now that i'm visiting my parents i've been 2 weeks sober. not that hard so i know i'm still in control.

My only beef with smoking, and something that's always on my mind, is the eventual lung damage that will result from it. It's really not that much different from smoking cigarettes in terms of health detriment. When it's legalized (you're right it will be) I'm pretty sure that's how i'll be spending my elderly years. Of course I'm sure some day comes along that just shuts off the switch and I decide to grow up or something along those lines.
