well the fluid isnt in yet....i stripped a caliper bracket
probably wouldnt need extra fluid though im goin with some ath super blue brake fluid and i bet ill have enough to do the clutch also
well gettin the calipers from kspec or mad_john would be your best bet
i got some calipers from a guy in new york for 30 each shipped with the caliper bracket
but
when they got here they were rusted like hell i got a $1 can of kraylon painted them black and used them for the core charge at checkers (the calipers have a lifetime warranty btw...) and kept the brackets
here is EXACTLY what you need
xg calipers(or kia spectra which ever is cheaper to you)
xg caliper brackets(same as above)
stainless brake lines (stock will work too but hell might as well replace....sucks to those who didnt do the goodridge gbs....)
brake pads(your favorite flavor mine is hawk but there are greenstuff AJUSA.COM has them for a great price)
caliper hardware
wheel bearing grease ($1 for a huge pack at autozone)
the rotors i listed earlier part numbers will work at your local kia if you wanna get them there
here is what you will need to swap
a flare nut wrench (10mm or 11 i cant remember)
a 17mm socket
a 14mm socket
a brake piston press (if there brand new you shouldnt need this)
pliers to pull the clip for the brake lines
a 10mm socket again for brake lines
and some brake fluid (ath is good shit)
its rather easy probably took me like 15 minutes to get it off and back on then again i have air tools....

what trim level was the spectra? i have found several, but they are listed with different trim levels. Cool. I just found the whole set up, minus the brake lines for less than $150 for both sides. anyway you could find out if they will work with any rims other than fx's?

no rear is not the same infact i doubt they will bolt in since the rear on the elantra is similar to the gk and the spectra is the same as the elantra
well i was wrong...the spectra does have a larger rear it has 10.2-in. rotors BUT like i said earlier i donno if it would bolt on....someone try this out!!!
