^^^yea, I will hook him up with an e-mail or something so we can get on the ball with this. From the time I start the R&D to the time it gets released for the public can take about a month or so. I will post everything here first so everyone can have part numbers to use to order the parts I make before they hit the catalog.

I also have some ideas I want to kick around about engine mounts. I know some people dont want the vibration but want a better mount. Well what we do for the honda's is an insert so you dont have to take any of the old rubber out of the stock mount, you just pop in the insert and it takes up all the space inside the stock mount.

For those who are like me and want a total replacement bushing, you will have to press or burn the old bushing out and put in a new replacement urethane bushing.

I can do inserts and total replacement bushings for all the engine/tranny mounts and roll stops.

Hey Reds and other mods, I am sorry for posting right below one of my own post but I could not edit my last post and I wanted to add this motor mount stuff.

anywho, here is a honda motor mount that I am working on with an insert.

here it is in stock form:

after a good cleaning job, I cap one end and poor urethane into it until it is half full then i let it harden and do the same to the other side. after the urethane sets, i take the 2 peices apart and you get an insert that looks like this:

then after I mass produce them, anyone who owns a 2001 honda civic si will be able to buy polyurethane motor mount inserts with an 88A durometer and never have to destroy their stock motor mount.

here is how they slip into the stock motor mount

so i can do this for ours and i can also do a replacement bushing which means you will have to either burn or press out the old bushing and put in th enew one.

So please, anyone who has any kind of hyundai, be it a santa fe, accent, elantra or tib. if you can spare the vehicle or know someone who can spare their vehicle, let them know and get back to me.

Energy suspension 949-361-3935 ask for Brian in R&D and I will get you hooked up with some free stuff. First come first serve and as highlander says "There can only be one" from each class of vehicle.

I sent an e-mail and a PM to blacktib so I hope we can use his cars, if not then the higher ups want to go directly to hyundai and get manufacture support which would mean no free stuff to whoever can get their car in.

I am trying to beat them to it because I would rather give a true hyundai owner something great for free.

The sooner you can get me the 00-01 bushings, then better. I'm really interested in the LCA bushings. I'm beginning to think that it's the main cause of the Tibs wheel hop at the track. They're just way to soft.
I'm also gonna need a front motor mount, and possibly tranny mount.
