Question - What is the best way to remove the wheel weight adhesive still stuck on the inner wheels? Seems every time I go to get my wheels balanced, they take off the old weights and leave the friggin adhesive still stuck on the inner wheels and it looks like CRAP. I asked for them to remove it several times and kept getting the same response that they are unable to.
Get 3M adhesive remover. Make sure you are outside, and don't chance it getting on any paint. sh*t is strong! Or you can go with acetone, that should do it as well.

Eraser wheels are magic. Short of that, I would personally start with isopropanol because I have it, then goo-gone/goof-off citrus based adhesive removers, or (as suggested) the purpose-made 3M product. I prepare razor blades a certain way to prevent scratching metal beneath labels when removing labels at work, but this is easy to get wrong. A plastic or wooden scraper may be helpful.
To say "we can't get the adhesive off" is plain false. ANYthing can be removed from metal, even vapor-deposited layers of other metal or powdercoating! to say "we can't get the adhesive off in the time that makes this work profitable with the tools and chemicals we have on hand" may be more accurate.
