Wheel Spacers... How Thick Can I Go Without Problems

As for spacers. if u get about an 1", they will come with the lugs thats connected to the spacers.
So u would not need to extend ur stock ones.
Just be a pioneer and bust some wide ass spacers, i say who cares about bearings cause they go anyways.

well i will probably be making my own spacers.. the way most spacers on ebay and other sites are made, they wont be as stable.
i havent had any wheel bearing problems in the past, but im more worried about my camber being all screwed up..
i need to find knockoff wheels that are wide.. i would NEVER spend ~1000$ shipped on rims lol

you will have them now then. and the camber will be thrown off as well. make sure you get it realigned right and use a camber kit if needed. otherwise you will see bad wearing on the tires and suspension components
just wondering but is this just theory that everyones telling me, or has this actually happened before.

no its definately going to throw off suspension a little bit. you will be putting more stress on everything. not sure how bad it will change camber but im sure it will. one of my auto technology classes right now is suspension and we were talking about this earlier in the semester.
if you are going for looks you're gonna want to get wider spacers for the rear to fill out the wheel well. when i had 15mm spacers on my old car the front tires were rubbing on the lip of the fender while the rears still had some room left. the tires did seem to wear a wee-bit more on the inside with the spacers on.
also i've heard bad things about the spacers with the bolts sticking out of them like kspecs (hub bolts to spacer, spacer "bolts" to wheel-... if that clears anything up), are known to break. and to me it makes sense, i'd rather have one solid joint rather than 2 crappy ones. keep in mind that this will add weight to your rim.

i think i figured out what i am going to do. i will probably go with 1" spacers, but they will fit like butter and not the bolt to hub style.. they will PRESS fit onto the hub, and then the rim will almost have to tap onto the spacer, so itll be a really tight fit so theres NO possibility for it being un-even, and ill probably just get some ARP extended studs. the wheels will probably still be in a bit from what i am going to do, but i dont wanna ruin my camber that much or put a WHOLE lot more stress on my wheel bearings.
^ Yeah but the problem with longer bolts is that if for whatever reason you have to remove the spacer & have to bolt the wheel back on, the nuts won't be able to screw all the way down without first changing the studs.
Spacers are illegal over here so each year I have to remove mine to go over the pits for re-registration.
