As I drive down the road I hear this annoying squeaky (pretty loud though!) sound, now it happens all the time but at first noticed I only noticed when I made right hand turns, now I hear it all the time. It seems worse on bumpy roads. I'm thinking either a shock or a bearing .. it sounds like it is coming from the rear driver's wheel, which is the same wheel that was doing this earlier: http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtopic=7727&hl= that problem mysteriously just went away on day though. Also when I get up to speeds of 60+ the whole car has a very slight vibration in the steering. It like sways side to side almost like a very bad draft or horribly windy day.
This problem is brand new, the swaying at highway speeds has been going on for months. Recently I had new brakes, passenger front wheel bearing, and driver's CV joint installed (within the past 3-4 months).
Any thoughts?

squeking noise makes me think it is not a wheel bearing. they have more of a hum.

rear wheel bearings are an integral part of the hub.. cost about 80 bucks, and are VERY easy to replace.

its just a thought but it might be the CV joint on the pass side. Normally its best to replace both if you have to replace one.

CV joints don't sound like this.
I'm almost 100% positive it is coming from a rear tire. Someone go outside to your car and push hard on the back wheels, it makes a similar squeak sound. Kind of like when you're reallllly low on your brake pads sound ... but ALL the time. I hate it..

Did you check your brakes? They do have squealers to let you know their low, and they can squeal all the time...

leaking dampener ?

I have some kind of grinding noise, front left. Gonna go to the garage tomorrow, it's f*cking driving me nuts and everyone's looking like my wheel's gonna fall of any second. And maybe it is laugh.gif

probably bearing, or disc brake, or some joint.

Must be something simple but costs a buttload of time to replace and enormous amounts of money to pay for it. What else is new

Yeah but that's what I'm doing.

I checked the discs, pads, joints all the crap

still makes a squeeking noise and after hard braking it looks like it is worse

I don't like it but better raped by the shop now then loose my front left suspension and total my car
