Hey guys, i finally bought a set of rims and theyll be here tuesday so i figured i should find out what i want to wrap them in.

Ive heard really good things about BFG Gforce sport and theyre not too expensive and i was curious to see what you guys thought about them.

I was thinking about the gforce drag radials till i heard you cant really DD them even though theyre DOT legal because they dont like water one bit.

Oh im thinking about 215/45/16 for the rims

Im sheisty about sharing which ones i got till i get them on with some pics so ill just tell you that they're 16" X 7" with a +42 offset

hehe cool.gif

I am super happy with the g-force kdw2's. Those are damn sticky tires, dry or wet. I only suggest them because you said something about the drag radials and the sports, so why not something in the middle.

I paid about $130 a tire for the kdw2's. No drag racing for me. Just regular Massachusetts driving... These take a lot more effort (higher rpm) to smoke on a launch than my es100's did.

Launching is no problem, if you know how to do it.

I have fresh G-Force Sports on the Tib... 2.2-2.3 60 foots all day.

All my friends who had Kumho 712s hated the dry traction problems they gave.

i got 2.1 60 foots no problem with the kumho 712's. no bull one of my fav tires.

yoko parada spec 2's. when i got them, didnt think much about them, they got the job done, definitly thought there was better out there.

now im on sumotuma HTRZ'2s. these tires made me realize the bald ass paradas were actually a decent tire, cause these things suck, going fast around corners, they dont stick at all, they cave, and slide. worst tire ive had since the original michilins tires that came on the car.

I'd love to see a vid or something with a near stock Tib running 2.1 60 foots on those cheap ass tires.
