What Tires Do You Recomend?

its amazing how anytime someone can actually pull a decent time out of something the other person cant, they have to hate, its one of the most annoying parts about this site.
2.1's are not that rare anymore out of FWD's. im sorry if you cant do it yourself, but dont f***ing downgrade me because of your inadequacy at the track

NOW now lets settle.
remember times are local when you dont factor in elevation, temperature, humidity, track quality, etc.
And i wouldnt insult ham's launching abilities lol, getting .1 second quicker 60' isnt grounds to say he cant launch.
BACK TO MY TOPIC.
i think the sports are winning me over, since theyre relatively cheap for the feedback ive been hearing.

Look @ tire reviews online. The stock Michelins (XGV4s I believe they are) have better dry traction rating than the 712s on pretty much all tire review sites that I've seen... thats saying something.

I am a big fan of the Perelli P-Zero Nero. Very forgiving tire, great traction, and good wear. The M+S version does not give up much to the standard Nero and is still consider a very high performance tire with some snow capability.
I will be putting some on my Bimmer after the experience I had with them on my Tib

I agree with Mad-Machine. I just replaced my Pirelli P-Nero Zero M+S tires with Kumho ECSTA ASX tires. Big mistake. I figured that since the tires ratings were very similar, that they would perform very similar. I have had the stock Michelin's, Dunlop FM901's, Falken ZIEX 512's, Pirelli M+S, and the Kumho ASX's. Needless to say, I will be getting the Pirelli's once I am in need of tires again.

Well for the tire size i got (16") i had very few choices to go with. In syracuse they had nothing in stock that would fit within the stock range (either 205/45/16 or 215/45/16) and the closest they could get was some cheap ass tires in buffalo (forget which ones) but he wanted 500+ before shipping for them. and they would need 5-10 days to get them to me. fvck that
So i came to jersey thinking they would have better, i was told i would have to go with the kumho 712's but when i got here all they had were Toyo Proxes 4's, paid $437 for them, a little more than i wanted to pay but at least i got what i needed.
I looked at reviews for them and from what i saw they are really good tires and the only complaints i saw was the price.
Any body else shell out the dough for these?
