I have stock rims & tyres 205/50 15's.
The book says 29psi but when I got new rubber the guy told me to run anywhere from 34 :arrow: 40, so I've run 36 ever since and the car handles great.
I don't get any uneven wear either 8)

I kept my stocks at 32 and still got wear on the inside and outside edge of the tires.
New tires have been at 36 and that is much better, but still showing a little extra wear, so going to 38 on the fronts.
(Falken Ziex 512s 205/55/14 I think and Kuhmo Supra 712s 205/50/15 on the other Tibby)
